Patrolling the garden

"I'm not sure what you mean by, 'a party', but you may join me in completing my rounds." Alex said.

Vincent nodded.
"So, where are we going?" He asked. He had his hands inside his pockets as he walked next to him.

"To the Borough next." Alex said as he lead his friend to the next area.

Vincent nodded his head as he had a feeling they were being followed again. It was different than last time but he ignored it and walked next to the man.
"May I ask you what your name is?" He asked.

"My name is Alexander." There was a slightly tense energy around Alex.

"Alexander" He said to himself.
"Ok, lets keep going" He said. He continued to walk as he noticed the tense energy around him.

Alex took one step after Vincent said that and 6 heartless appeared in a circle around them. He summoned his keyblade. "You ready?"

"Yes" He said. He held out his hand as the keyblade appeared in his hand.
"What are they?" He asked. He was ready to fight but had no clue as to what they were.

"They're heartless. They have no feeling or remorse for their actions so they will kill you without hesitation." Alex slashed and destroyed 2 of the enemies ahead of him.

Vincent sighed.
"Figures" He said softly. Two more heartless tried to come at him when he held up his keyblade and slashed at them, cutting them in half as they disappeared.

Alex was struck in the back by one of the 2 soldiers left. He then swung around, destroying it. The other soldier was heading for Vincent.

Vincent jumped back, dodging the monsters attack. He then reacted quickly and grabbed it. It started to spin as it went into the air. Vincent let go of it and then kicked it, sending it down into the ground, destroying it. He landed next to Alex and looked at him.

"Not bad." Alex smiled at Vincent. "I think that's about it for now. Thank you for your help, Vincent. I'll see you around." Alex started back to his house.

Vincent nodded his head as his keyblade vanished. He turned the other way as a dark shadow appeared out of the ground in between the duo. As it expanded and got taller, it formed arms and legs. It was a dark side. Vincent turned around as he got the ominous feeling again, only to be surprised by the large hand that was now in front of him. It grabbed hold of him to where he couldn't call his keyblade. He looked up and couldn't see anything but a large shadow. It was trying to grab for Alexander as well, but Vincent couldn't let out a yell for him to run.

Alex, out of reflex, summoned his keyblade and slashed the Darkside's hand. "Vincent!" Alex launched himself off of the ground towards his friend in an attempt to free him.

Within seconds, the monster flung around, taking Vincent away from Alex. It then grabbed hold of him as it began to squeeze tighter. A dark voice was heard in the darkness of the monster.
"Eh, you two will become a thorn in my side in the future" The voice said. "I shall seperate you both!"
The monster then flung Vincent down into the darkness as it took Alex and threw him in another direction, getting absorbed by the darkness.
A laugh was heard as the monster began to disappear.
"Where they'll end up, nobody knows" He said. With that, Vincent and Alex were seperated from each other.
